Level 1 Service Desk Technician

Job Summary

Our Service Desk Technicians are our primary team working with our customers and are responsible for maintaining user up-time and improving client computing experiences. Individuals will utilize our remote monitoring and automation solutions along with other service-specific tools and technologies to deliver remote user support services and update service request information, answer technical support calls, assign ticket severity, prioritize work accordingly, and collaborate and work with other staff and vendor support resources to resolve issues. Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn innovative technologies and processes. This position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources and OBSESSIVE customer service.

Experience, Skills, and Requirements

  • 3+ years of helpdesk experience troubleshooting
  • 1+ year of Android & iOS mobile familiarity
  • Technical knowledge of Windows desktop & laptop hardware in a business environment
  • Technical knowledge of Apple hardware and iOS/MacOS operating systems in a business environment
  • Technical understanding of cloud technologies- AWS, Azure, & google cloud platform
  • Technical knowledge of networking including routers, switches, and wireless
  • Effective Planning & Organizing skills2+ years of Active Directory support
  • 1+ years of Window Server familiarity
  • 1+ year of Exchange and/or Office 365 support
  • Virtualization technology with VMWare or Hyper V
  • Linux support
  • VoIP Telephony
  • Reliable transportation
  • Available for on-call shift
  • Strong problem solving efficiency
  • Effective communication & documentation skills

Education and Certifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A+, MCP, orCCENT desirable


Starting Salary : $15.00 Per Hour / $31,200 Annually
